Fauxfu

A few years ago during a trip to Vancouver, BC I made a promise to myself to always follow the code of JPR! What is JPR you ask?... It stands for Japadog, Poutine, Ramen. The pact I made with my self is that whenever I go to Vancouver I have to eat each of these items. Sure it may not be the most healthy food on the planet but I only go up to Canada about once a year. If you've been to Vancouver before you'll know that it's a haven for all sorts of wonderful, tasty foods!

The Japadog you see above is the station at Burrard and Smithe. This is the one that I usually end up going to for some reason but there 5 locations in Vancouver, each with a different selection of dogs (including one that now sells something called lovemeat). The Poutine is from a little place called Zogs Dogs in Whistler, BC near the gondolas. I don't know what they do to make it so tasty but I can't get enough. And finally, the Ramen is from a shop called Kintaro Ramen on Vancouver's West End near Denman and Robson. It's pretty good but not necessarily the best I've ever had. Luckily there are about 50 ramen shops in that area so there's no way you could possibly get bored!

The next time you head up to Vancouver, try the JPR experience!
